Hello again !  How have you been?
About me, I went to Hamamatsu in Shizuoka prefecture to see “AIR FESTA HAMAMATS 2013”
I’ve already written this in the most recent staff blog, so I don’t write detail here.

こんにちは、いかがお過ごしですか？
私は静岡の浜松までエアフェスタ2013を見に行って来ました。
先日のスタッフブログに書きましたので、よろしければご一読ください。

It has been several years since I traveled last,
but I actually wanted to go to Canada this year.
Why is Canada ? My host mother lives there. I haven’t seen her for many years. I miss her.

久しぶりの旅行でした。
本当のところ、今年はホストマザーの住んでいるカナダに行きたかったんです。
暫く会っていないのですごく会いたいです。

When I was a high school student, I never thought I would go to another country. Because I wasn’t good at English.
Now I’m interested in English. I like experiencing different culture and talking to foreign people.
If I hadn’t been experienced other countries, I wouldn’t known about Japan well.
Of course I’m a native Japanese, but I think Japan is the easiest to live of the countries I’ve visited thus far. For you know own country well, I think everyone should experience other countries.

実は、学生の頃は英語が苦手で海外旅行をするなんて思ってもいませんでした。
今は英語に興味を持ち、外国の文化に触れたり現地の人とおしゃべりしたりするのが楽しいのですが、なにより日本の良いところがわかるんです。日本は一番住みやすい国だと思います。
母国を知る為に、外国を知ることは必要ですよね。

今回はレストンの予約の仕方などを紹介したいと思います。

まずは、お薦めのレストランを教えてもらう時は

Could you recommend a nice restaurant near here ?
（この辺りの美味しいレストランを教えて下さい）

でもあまり高くないレストランがいい場合は

I’m looking for a restaurant that’s not too expensive.

予約は必要？
Do I need reservation ?

予約をいれましょう。
A party of three at 7:00 tonight.
（3名で今晩７時からお願いします）

これがWe are three and at seven tonight.だと

→　私たちは3歳です。そして今夜７時に。

と面白い事になってしまうので “a party of ～”を忘れずに。
（「その英語ネイティブにはこう聞こえます」より）

Is there a table available for three tonight ?

（今夜テーブルを3名分予約できますか？）

何時まで開いてる？

What time do you close ?
When do you close ?
